He earned his Master of Medical Science (MMS) degree from Saint Francis University, but his journey began long before in the field as a City of Miami Firefighter/Paramedic. With over 15 years serving in emergency services, Carlos developed a deep understanding of urgent care and pre-hospital medicine, which enhances his ability to provide comprehensive and compassionate care.

Yuny Ruiz, RN, BSN, is a Registered Nurse with over 15 years of clinical experience. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Sacred Heart University and has worked in emergency departments across South Florida and Texas, gaining invaluable experience in high-pressure environments.
